FSA depends on financial support from individuals like you to meet families’ greatest priorities and to further our mission to close the opportunity gap and end generational poverty in Orange County, NC.
Your donation supports the work of a diverse group of parents, elected officials, community organizations, and government partners who have come together to improve children’s chances for educational and economic opportunities with a seamless “pipeline” of evidence-based programs, services, and supports from cradle to college and career.
We accept and appreciate monetary donations of any value. Donations may be made through the county’s secure online donation portal: Orange County Community Giving Fund.
To make a donation, you will be asked to:
- Create a user name and password, to ensure a secure transaction
- Select a Fund: Family Success Alliance
- Opt to make a one-time donation or a recurring donation
- Decide whether you would like to donate via a bank draft or credit card
Unless requested otherwise, donors may be listed on FSA’s website, listserv, and Impact Report. You may also make a donation in honor or memory of a friend. Upon request, we are happy to send a card letting them or their family know you’ve made a donation on their behalf.

FSA’s wish list includes:
- Books and other literacy materials to support children’s learning
- Food, beverages, and disposable kitchen items
FSA is an initiative of the Orange County Health Department, an entity of Orange County Government. Donors may deduct contributions made to FSA, as provided in section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code.
